A Lagosta Perdida

Our host Robert was amazing, very passionate about this property and the services he provided. Food was lovely (dinner and breakfast), and some new and surprising dishes which were serviced in a lovely atmosphere. The village is very lovely with a lovely cafe/restaurant well recommend for a lunch/dinner. Facilities were excellent. Robert allowed us to park the motorbike in his garage which was nice. The property offers plenty of well traditional decorated rooms to sit in and read the plentiful supply of local knowledge/information.

Robert is a very nice and helpful host. He manages to provide delicious Portuguese food and all the environment is very cosy and familiar. The swimming pool is wonderful and very clean. There are some Irish poneys and cats at the property that we loved to see.

A Lagosta Perdida is a little GEM hidden away in Montesinho village in the Montesinho National Park Portugal. The owner /host Robert was an excellent host who was extremely welcoming and helpful. We arrived on our Motorbike and were greeted by Robert who then directed us straight into the cool underground garage . This was just heaven as it was very hot riding !! The house is beautiful and the room great with it's own exterior entrance / exit door. The house also has it's own swimming pool with amazing views to relax by. Robert also cooked the evening meals and we were able to sample genuine Portuguese dishes which were just delicious and very plentiful. The breakfast were also lovely and again plentiful.

Everything was just great at A Lagosta Perdida ( The Lost Lobster ) and we would love to return !!

Beautiful location, wonderfully looked after and the home cooked food and peaceful environment.
