About this house rental
Brushwood Modern Retreat — Where Comfort Meets Entertainment in Charlotte, NC
Set on a private, wooded lot in a quiet Charlotte neighborhood, Brushwood Modern Retreat is built for groups. Five bedrooms, three full bathrooms, a dedicated game room, and a driveway that holds eight cars — with Uptown Charlotte just 13 minutes away.
Most large rentals ask you to compromise: space but no character, or style but nowhere for fifteen people to actually be. Brushwood doesn't. There's room to spread out and room to gather, and the design holds up in both directions. Keyless smart entry means arrival is effortless whatever time you land.
THE SPACE
Open-concept living areas, bright and airy, furnished with care — the right backdrop for slow mornings, long dinners, and evenings that run late. The living room features a premium LG sound bar, and Bluetooth audio extends through the home, including every bathroom.
Smart TVs in every bedroom. Sign in with your own streaming accounts — Netflix, YouTube, Prime, whatever you watch at home.
When the mood turns cinematic, a JMGO projector with a retractable screen transforms the living room. A second projector outside handles movie nights under the stars.
High-speed Wi-Fi throughout, plus a dedicated workstation with a monitor if anyone needs to work.
THE GAME ROOM
This is where Brushwood separates itself from everything else in its class. A converted garage, fully finished and climate-controlled:
PlayStation 5
Super Nintendo — the classics, on original hardware
Full-size pool table
Stand-up arcade cabinet
Peloton bike, with cycling shoes (sizes 40, 43, 45) and weights included
JBL Party Box Bluetooth speaker — rolls into the living room when you want it there
It's the room guests mention most, and the reason groups rebook.
KITCHEN AND DINING
A fully equipped chef-style kitchen with a large island, ready for anything from a quick breakfast to dinner for fifteen. All cookware and appliances are yours to use — dishwasher, full-size refrigerator, coffee maker, and proper seating for a group meal.
The island seats several on stools, with a separate dining table for everyone else. Nobody eats standing up.
OUTDOOR LIVING
The outdoor space is a genuine second living room:
Covered patio with lounge seating
Propane grill
Egg chairs and a cotton hammock by the pergola
Outdoor Bluetooth speaker
Outdoor projector for alfresco movie nights
The wooded lot gives real privacy — rare this close to the city. Quiet hours run 10 PM to 8 AM, per community ordinance.
SLEEPING
Five bedrooms, three full bathrooms, sleeping up to 15 across 9 beds.
Washer and dryer available for light personal use.
WHO IT'S FOR
Multi-family trips where the kids need somewhere to disappear to. Reunions and milestone birthdays. Race weekends at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Friend groups who want a house rather than four hotel rooms. Remote workers who need a desk and good Wi-Fi alongside everyone else's vacation.
Pets are welcome with pre-approval.
