About this cottage rental
Escape to the Cotswolds in a historic Cottage "The Porthole" with original beams & thatched Roof. Cosy up by the log burner with your family after exploring the beauty of the Cotswolds, enjoying walks, shopping and countryside pubs (including a gift of a Log Burner Starter kit). The Cottage is 3 bedroom with one bathroom & private garden (Christmas Tree Set Up for Dec). The space is designed with boutique interiors bringing new and old together whilst keeping to the true cottage living experience. The property has original features including thatched roof, low ceilings and beams. So please do mind your head! The front leads directly to a dining area where you will find a 6 seater dining table to entertain and enjoy family moments. The Kitchen has a large double sized oven, perfect for creating food for the whole family. You then lead into a cosy living space with a four seater sofa, 2 seater love seat and an armchair perfectly positioned by the log burner. As a gift we are providing a starter log burning kit so every guest can experience a true cosy cottage feel. There is a stable door on the ground floor leading to a private garden with a patio area. Here you will find outdoor seating and a BBQ to enjoy summer or winter. Inside the property the stairway leads you to the upstairs bedrooms. There are 3 bedrooms, one master double room with side tables and a cute occasional chair. The second double bedroom is accessed from one side of the bed with a side table. The third bedroom is a twin room (single beds) with a shared bedside table. In the corridor you have a private desk area where you can work remotely if needed but hopefully not if you are on holiday! Finally the bathroom where there is a full sized bath and a shower to relax after a day of exploring the Cotswolds.
