For active guests, there are convenient storage areas for bicycles, skis, or hiking gear—and best of all: walking trails and cross-country ski trails start right outside the front door, and beautiful hiking trails are just around the corner. The mountain railways and beaches are just a few minutes away.
Thanks to the ground-level access, you can easily reach your accommodations, where you can unwind after an eventful day and enjoy the special atmosphere. You’ll find a parking spot right next to the house, as well as storage space for bicycles, skis, etc.

The Karwendelnest is a vacation apartment newly renovated in 2025 and is ideal for couples, solo travelers, or small families. The ground-level entrance ensures easy access, while the open-concept kitchen-living area—equipped with an electric stove, microwave, dishwasher, and all the necessary dishes—invites you to cook together. Upon request, we’re happy to provide a crib, high chair, and other children’s gear. Just let us know what you need at least 2 days before your arrival—we’ll take care of it.
After an eventful day in the Achensee region, enjoy relaxing evenings in the garden or in front of the TV in a high-quality atmosphere featuring stone and wood finishes. The cozy double room offers a stunning view of the mountains and the adjacent meadow.
Direct access to the garden and terrace invites you to enjoy breakfast or relaxing moments outdoors—here you can enjoy nature to the fullest.
