About this apartment rental

Location: The vacation rental is located on a property alongside the owner’s single-family home, just 200 m from the city harbor and Town Hall Square. Wolgast is a small town rich in tradition, where you can still admire the medieval street layout, interesting building facades, and the imposing Gothic St. Peter’s Basilica in the historic old town. There are many other historic sights to discover here. The famous painter Philipp Otto Runge was born in Wolgast on the 23.07.1777 and, alongside Caspar David Friedrich, is considered the most significant painter of the Early Romantic period. The town, with a population of approximately 12,000, offers the usual shopping options. The beach on the Baltic Sea is about 8 km away. You can reach the island of Usedom via the Peene Bridge, Germany’s largest and probably most beautiful cantilever bascule bridge.
As of 01.01.2025, the city of Wolgast is part of the Usedom Island tourism region and has introduced a visitor’s tax. During the peak season from April 1 to October 31, the visitor’s tax is €4.20 per person per night. Children under 6 years of age are exempt. As a holder of the “UsedomCard” tourist card, you are entitled to visit all towns in our Usedom Island tourism region and use all services— including trains operated by DB Regio AG and buses operated by Usedomer Bäderbahn GmbH (except for Line 271 Wolgast–Greifswald). Overnight guests pay the tourist tax directly to the local property owner.
