On your hikes or bike rides along the excellent network of bike paths, you’ll continually discover new, tranquil lakes, idyllic villages, and ancient trees. You’ll love the uniqueness and the power that nature bestows upon you. The clear waters of the lakes invite you to explore by ship, boat, or canoe. If you prefer sunbathing or swimming in the lake, you can choose a quiet shore or even a beach with a playground. There, your children can play, run around, and make new friends.

The small, idyllic town of Lychen itself also offers plenty to see. Visit the “Rafting Museum,” or take a trip on a handcar toward Templin or Fürstenberg. Visit the nearby “Boizenburg Castle,” or the “Therme” and the “Eldorado” in Templin.
