Ideal for a seaside holiday, this modern apartment for 5 people is right on the beach. On the 5th floor, with a private balcony overlooking the Adriatic Sea, the apartment would suit friends or family looking for a relaxing holiday and to explore the historical port of Durres.
This contemporary apartment has an open-plan living area which is furnished with an L-shaped sofa, flat-screen TV and a dining table. The smart, fitted kitchen is equipped with a cooker hob, oven, kettle and a fridge/freezer. The room is light and airy thanks to glass doors that open onto the private balcony. Here, guests can dine al fresco and enjoy the sea breeze.

Bedroom 1: The master bedroom, with uninterrupted sea views, is furnished with a double bed and a wardrobe.
Bedroom 2: This light-filled room has two single beds and also offers views of the sea.
Extra: The sofa in the main living area converts into a comfortable single bed.

The apartment is ideally located by the wide sandy beach. It is only 15 minutes from Durres’s Town Square. Durres has ancient Roman sites, including the largest amphitheatre in the Balkans, as well as the ruins of a Byzantine forum. There are also endless beaches and some of the best nightlife in Albania. The 4th-century Venetian Tower, on the seafront, is now a restaurant and is the perfect place to watch the sunset over the Adriatic Sea. Durres gets lively at weekends and is known for its vibrant nightlife. Durres Summer Fest takes place every June and features international DJ’s plus live performances.
Tirana is a 1-hour drive and makes a great day trip. It is an eclectic mix of Ottoman, Soviet and Fascist architecture. The city is easy to explore on foot. Blloku is an exciting, young area, full of cafés and interesting boutiques. The main square – Skanderbeg Square is a must-see. The city’s markets offer a window onto everyday life. The New Market, Pazari Ri offers a wide range of local produce.
For self-catering, there are several supermarkets within 5 minutes of the apartment. The town’s covered market, Grand Market (10 minutes), is the best place to pick up fresh local produce to try at home. Visit the Abaia Winery and Vineyard (15 minutes) to sample delicious wines and buy directly from the producers.
Tirana International Airport is just a 35-minute drive from the apartment. If you are arriving in Albania by car, the ferries from Ancona and Bari both go directly to Durres Port (11 minutes).
