Luxury and Chic 2BR 2BA Apt only 15 Mins to NYC & Hoboken

The apartment was conducive to our needs with two teenage boys who shared a room. We were busy most days til late evening so not much was done at the apartment while there. Some of the pictures showed a balcony and an open court, but that was not available to us; merely pictures from nearby so that was a bit of a let down. CLEANLINESS: The rugs were dirty-looking. I wear slippers or socks when I’m away from home, though. In retrospect, I’m not sure if the sheets had been washed since that guest but we were so tired, we just assumed they were. I noticed later that the sheets were backwards. The soaps pictured were not the ones available. I’m glad I still brought my own. Visibly, on the surface, it was clean. SAFETY: We felt safe in the area; not the greatest but not the worst, either. There was a grocery store a block away to get snacks without seeing homeless people or smelling urine or seeing trash on the street. It was fairly quiet. Caution on the towels. I believe those are just getting washed at the apartment and put out for reuse, which is gross without using commercial grade washers and extremely hot water. FUNCTIONAL: the tub has a slow drain in the guest bathroom and the a/c was barely working the first night and then stopped completely the next. It was so hot, sweating after getting out of the shower, clothes sticking to us, and the air was stale in the apartment. The property manager was slow to respond and didn’t until bringing up the legal terms by which to commit to providing A/C in the apartment. By then, our 5 day stay was over. We had one night with A/C; after walking miles visiting NY sites. The apartment does not have a living room ; rather, the kitchen is the gathering spot. A TV in the brick wall above the counter would be helpful. SERVICE: 1.) Not the best in service. We arrived early from the airport and while the apartment was ready, we were not permitted to enter until 15 minutes prior to arrival time.

Si, el alojamiento estaba bien, aunque faltaban algunos detalles de uso. La ubicación bien, varias opciones de autobuses para bajar a Manhattan.
