Phoenix X 1412

We did not have breakfast. We loved the location so close to the beach. We were there during the Tropical Storm Bertha. The indoor pool was the saving grace of our trip. Love the elevator situation. Even when everyone was coming off the beach and pool areas during the storm--there was not much of a wait at all to get onto an elevator and back to our place. We will be back--hopefully during better weather!!!

The last night around 2:00am --someone pushed our doorbell 3 times. I did not open the door but did not see anyone out the peephole. Up til that point--I had a total sense of security and safety. The age youngsters I had seen---would be too old to ever do that sort of prank. It was disturbing. I was up til day light and my daughter's sleep was sketchy due to 4 year old having bad dreams for the rest of the night. While this is not something that can be actually controlled by the owners; if I was not leaving the next day---I would have had to have some sort of answer as to: our safety. A comfort level of knowing it was pranksters and NOT some predator who had noticed 2 women with small children --looking for access to "easy targets". This was the evening of Wednesday July 22, 2026. #1412 is located at a slight corner. One in which--someone could ring our doorbell and hide around the corner. Easily "busted" if we had had our husbands who would've opened the door and looked around. But easy access into our condo--if a woman or child mindlessly opened the door. Or a prankster who randomly selected our door. Regardless; I am thankful for the automatic lock that our door had on it. Because we had not locked the door with the deadbolt. We felt THAT secure. Any time I was out and about at Phoenix X--I felt incredibly safe. Even during the high winds of the storm during the daylight hours---there was Security everywhere and available. It was really nice. I am very alert to my surroundings and not once did I see anyone who I felt uneasy about. I do believe I would've noticed if we had been being watched all the way up to our condo. I like the bracelets we were required to wear and the man who checks for the vehicle registration each time we drove into the premises. I appreciate the balance of very little interference of privacy while also feeling safe and secure while staying in unfamiliar surroundings.
