Room was very clean/new as of may ‘26(and we have high standards), pleasant decor. Separate toilet alcove for the nasties to stay localized. A stones throw from a family mart(“family”-dom toretto) with a luup station. Quiet local-ish neighbourhood[increasing number of foreigner sightings(who got the memo) unfortunately; woe the irony ey] despite near chaotic ikebukuro. Bonus: 3 donkis within 3kms.
Fruit fly gang at entrance so if ur not careful a few might enter room if ur on the first floor. Segmented room means a/c goldilocks zone is harder to achieve. Also generic advice is to be careful about nipponese washing machines; they rip into ur undergarms with no mercy. Apparently nets are key to launder happily

It was very new, modern and spacious. It was even bigger than we had imagined. We felt right at home. The bed was so comfortable, I even tried to see if I can buy the blanket somewhere. There is a Family Mart almost right next to it, which is super convenient. Check-in was very easy and we could even get into the room earlier. I would definitely stay here again!
It was a little bit far from the station but if you don’t mind walking, it’s totally fine
