It felt like home away from home. It was neat and cozy

The location first and foremost. The fact there were 3 bedrooms and multiple toilets/ bathrooms. Parking was great and a real bonus.
Sadly, cleanliness was very much on the poor side; dirty skirting boards and door frames. Floors dirty, bin in the kitchen dirty. Stains on sheets on one of the beds in the twin room (fortunately, it wasn't one we needed to use).
Mattresses and cardboard left in the conservatory.
Kitchen amenities were poor; only 3 mugs for 5 adults and not enough glassware. Cutlery and cutlery drawer dirty.
I'm not sure why there's a microwave on the wall? It doesn't work (!?) and only one side of the plug socket by the kettle and toaster works (needs checking ASAP for safety reasons).
There was no information regarding waste/recycling and what to do with it (where were the wheelie bins?).
I know this all sounds negative, but if you correct these issues, people will really enjoy their stay.
We made the best of it, and these things didn't dampen the fun we had this weekend.
