Spacious room and great location

Very clean and good space

We had an early flight out of Nadi airport, so we wanted to spend our last night in a place nearby. I had originally booked another apartment, but they cancelled, and so Booking.com recommended this apartment instead. The apartment consists of a living area, a bedroom, a kitchen and a large bathroom. It has an unusual structure, and the bedroom window goes toward the living area; the bathroom windows go into the kitchen. The apartment is labelled as having a garden view, but the external views were a driveway (front door) and a fence (back door). There is a washer/dryer, which we didn't use. We did use the air conditioning and the TVs. The host is very friendly. He drove us to the airport in the morning, about a 10-minute drive. The apartment is located in a residential street next to the main commercial / industrial road. We easily walked to a large Fresh Choice supermarket. However, it is not the sort of area where you would want to go out to take a walk.

The description of Booking.com states that the apartment provides free airport shuttle. The host told us that airport pickups were free only during the hours of 5-9 am and 5-8 pm. The cost for an airport pick-up outside of these hours would be FJD25. I think this information should be provided to guests even before they book. We were given the choice of paying by cash or credit. We preferred credit, but didn't know that there would be a 5% surcharge. Again, this information should be given in advance. There are small steps into the kitchen, bathroom and living room which take you by surprise. We tripped a couple of times. A yellow cautionary tape would help. It took me a while to get in touch with the host, but once we met him, as I said, he was very friendly.

Very spacious and clean. Host arranged airport pick up and drop offs which was much appreciated.
