Urban Living in Pueblo Libre

What a great place! The apartment itself is really nice - in a very clean and well-kept block with a really friendly and helpful reception team. Very little/no noise from other apartments and an incredible view of midtown Lima. The apartment has a great kitchen with a 4-burner hob, a large fridge and plenty of cutlery and utensils. the living room area is really spacious - with a huge HD TV, sofas and a dining table for four. It also made a great exercise area with a yoga mat from the local supermarket. The bedrooms are gorgeous - comfy beds, clean bedding, an ensuite bathroom in the master suite and a bathroom for the two other bedrooms. The area is great, depending on what you want of course. I was visiting multiple sites both by the coast and in the old centre, so it was perfectly located between the two and right next to every main bus line. The opposite corner has a large Plazavea supermarket with everything you need to feed a family for a week. As an added bonus, there's a Smart Fit gym upstairs which does a very reasonable one-day pass. Most of all, though, is Hostin themselves - they were really lovely and helpful, which was much appreciated by a traveller for the first time in Peru.

Nothing really! The hot water takes a brief minute to warm up and I had a bit of an issue with the washing machine - but the Hostin team were super-efficient and got someone out to help within a couple of hours. The remotes for the two TVs ran out of batteries and became unresponsive, but this was easy to replace. There are coffee machines and kettles in the cupboard so you will need to get those out and plug them in yourself if you want them. But these are minor issues - this is a really great place to stay!
