Unfortunately, there was an unpleasant situation regarding access to the accommodation. Although I had already fully paid for the room and had just arrived after a long journey, I was not given the key box code until the tourist tax of €7.50 was paid. Paying tourist tax is of course completely normal. However, it was not mentioned anywhere in advance that this payment had to be made specifically via PayPal or bank transfer. For international bank transfers, I personally have to pay around €10 in additional fees. At that moment, I only had cash with me, so I offered several alternatives, such as paying by credit card or giving the cash to someone in person. After a long discussion back and forth, the host eventually agreed that I could leave the cash in the room. However, the situation caused unnecessary stress, especially after a long day of travelling. In the end, I still decided to transfer the money by bank transfer afterwards, just to avoid any possible misunderstandings about the payment later on. I believe it would be better if these payment requirements were clearly stated in the listing or booking information beforehand, so guests know what to expect before making a reservation.

L'appartement est bien situé, à proximité de la gare et des arrêts de bus. La vieille ville est à cinq arrêts. La résidence est neuve et sécurisée 24h/24 et 7j/7. Le propriétaire envoie un code et les instructions la veille de l'arrivée. L'appartement est propre et équipé de vaisselle si vous souhaitez cuisiner. Tout est neuf.

Le matelas est très dur ; on a l'impression de dormir sur du béton. La salle de bain, qui fait également office de toilettes, est dans un état déplorable. Les robinets sont rouillés et entartrés, le miroir est couvert d'éclaboussures laissées par les anciens locataires, la bonde de douche est visiblement bouchée et l'eau inonde toute la salle de bain. C'est dangereux. Mon mari a glissé et est tombé. Mon conseil : un nettoyage plus approfondi serait nécessaire.
