ABO - Boutique Apartment - Chalet Horst

The view from the living room/balcony is just incredible. A very peaceful location away from the hustle and bustle of town, but well connected via the free buses (a 2 minute walk from the door). Adrian met us at the apartment and shared his knowledge and experience of the area, his suggestions made our visit to Grindelwald even better. The apartment is well equipped and comfortable. Modern fittings and furnishings. We made use of the free parking, our car was safe and nearby. An amazing place to stay.

The host was friendly and welcomed us in person and gave us a tour of his home. The apartment’s standout feature was its magnificent balcony view of the mountains surrounding Grindelwald. It was modern, clean, and equipped with all the amenities necessary. Access to the train station was easy via the bus (5-10 minutes), which runs every 30 minutes and is free with the city tax.

The town bus finishes running around 7:00pm - after this you are required to make your own way (walk, taxi) if staying out late

We stayed for 5 nights! Amazing beautiful property with really good amenities. Host Adrian is amazing and his hospitality was the best.

Large one bedroom apartment with a huge living room, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom is great with bathtub and jacuzzi, huge balcony facing the Eiger north face, there is a small creek right by the the property, you could hear the water running, there is a start of trail leading to the First (where the Trottibike path) right next to it. There is a bus running between train station (Grindelwald) to a bus stop, 50 m away from the property every 30 minutes, last one is 18.45 hrs. Adrian, the host is very kind and attentive, he pick us up from the train station, as we arrive just after the bus left the train station. We are very happy to find this place and definitely will not hesitate to book again in the future.

Having to walk from sport center (uphill) to the property at 10 pm after 100k run 😆 nothing bad to say for the apartment.
