Bay and City View Studio at The Arya

The building, staff, location, parking, gym, pool and view are all excellent. It’s a good value.

Our unit itself, other than having a great view wasn’t great. Whatever they used to clean made the floors feel slimy and the bathtub slippery to step into. They’ve clearly tried to spruce or update the unit by painting it, but there are paint speckles everywhere and at this point they just need to replace some things. The closet door was wonky. There was black mold around the vent in the ceiling. We never left the balcony door open but regardless the A/C couldn’t keep up with the humidity. The temperature was fine but towels didn’t dry and the pillow felt damp. Thankfully they provided us with plenty of towels, so we put a few on the floor to walk on since it felt so slimy underfoot. This is my second time staying at this property. I will stay here again, but avoid this particular unit. Check out at 10 AM is a early as well. We would have much preferred 11 AM. However, they charge you $200 if you check out late.
