About this house rental
On the ground floor are 2 bedrooms : one king-size bedroom and one with 2 individual beds ( that can be set up as a king-size bed upon request). On the first floor, there are two queen bedrooms, the kitchen and the communal living spaces.
Each bedroom has its own bathroom. Bathrooms are built into the bedrooms with an open-concept layout — a half wall creates division without closing off the space. Each bathroom has hot water.
At the center of the home is a grand palapa roof covering the kitchen, living and dining area, creating an open and airy shared space. A smaller palapa at the entrance of the property is set apart for yoga or meditation with sea views.
The kitchen, dining, and communal areas follow an indoor–outdoor concept, bringing you closer to nature while still sheltered from the elements. There are several outdoor spaces for meals and relaxation, including a large lounge space and a covered walled dining area, both with views of the sea and desert.
The kitchen is fully equipped and adapted to a solar-powered system, with an electric fridge. It also comes with basics for cooking such as spices, oil, and vinegar, and for breakfast drinks like coffee, tea, sugar, and honey. Kitchen sink is not connected to hot water. The gas stove has an oven and a gas BBQ is available for guests. Open fires are not permitted on the property due to the palapa roof and desert winds.
The Rancho is connected to Starlink, even if we recommend disconnecting in such a Natural environment!
Just 450 meters away lies a wide, secluded beach. Two paddle boards are provided, and the area is perfect for snorkeling, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, or simply relaxing in peace. ———————————Access & Location
Rancho Cara Cara is located 18 miles from La Paz (1 hour drive from downtown). The access road is part paved, part dirt, and the last mile requires a 4x4 vehicle. The first 15 miles are on asphalt, followed by 3 miles of dirt road, which goes through breathtaking landscapes. The final mile goes through an arroyo with sandy ground, where a 4x4 is necessary.
