About this house rental
Enjoy a peaceful stay at this 4-bedroom house in San Jose. The home features 9 separate beds, perfect for large groups and 2.5 bathrooms. Guests can relax in the cozy living room, which includes an extra twin bed. With a mix of queen, full, and twin beds throughout, there’s plenty of space for everyone to unwind. The house offers mini split heating and air conditioning to keep the atmosphere just right in every room. Whether you’re gathering for a quiet evening or an enjoyable morning coffee, this enchanting retreat invites you to feel right at home. You're sure to make fantastic memories with a stay at our place.
~~~~~ABOUT ALL OF OUR HOMES~~~~~~
~KITCHENS are equipped with all plates, glasses, cups, utensils, pots and pans that you would need. We most often include extras like woks, rice makers, various coffee makers (Keurig type, pot, French press), electric water kettle, toaster, blender etc. If we've missed something, please just ask us.
~BEDROOMS-- you'll find no less than two pillows per person--with a variety of thicknesses and styles. There will always be plenty of extra blankets. We offer fleece blankets, down duvets, down alternative duvets, coverlets, throw blankets. Again, if you're not finding something you were hoping for, just message us.
Please look at the pictures carefully to see the home set up. Each bedroom is detailed with the number and size of the beds. The captions add extra detail. We have extra beds, mattresses and air mattresses that can be brought into the common area of the home to accommodate larger groups. The living room and family room beds will not be made up, unless you make a specific, timely request. We have plenty of extra linens and blankets for you to do it yourself, but if you'd like our staff to set the beds up, you'll have to let us know.
~~~~~~~~~CLEANING~~~~~~~~~
We have pledged to pay our cleaners a Living Wage. We strive to provide you with a clean home; keeping your cleaning fee low, while respecting our local labor force. Our basic cleaning service includes cleaning and sanitizing the home and laundering the sheets and towels. It does not include a daily linen service or a deep cleaning, nor does it include washing mounds of dishes, scrubbing pots and pans, flattening piles of shipping boxes, cleaning a greasy stove with burnt on food, removing food or smoke odors, etc.
The cleaning fee should actually be called a turnover fee or something similar. If you want to exercise the right to leave a mess, just know that you will be charged to return the home to the state you received it.
Things that will require extra cleaning charges:
~picking up garbage all around the house
~cleaning a greasy stove
~washing dirty dishes
~moving furniture back
~removing odors--because of food, smoke, pets
~cleaning after a pet
~~~~~~ADDITIONAL CLEANING FOR LONG STAYS~~~~~~
if your booking is for more than 3 weeks you will be charged an additional cleaning fee each 3 weeks. Our cleaner will come in and change all bedding and linens and clean the home.
~~~~~~GUESTS AND VISITORS~~~~~~~
Only registered guests are allowed to access the home--no gatherings, parties or events--Airbnb will fully support hosts if this is violated. You can't have extra people in the house, even if they aren't spending the night, unless they are approved before their visit.
~~~MAIL, PACKAGES and DELIVERIES~~~~
We do not have the staff or time to assist in receiving or retrieving deliveries. You cannot use the home address to receive mail. Many of our homes have the mailbox removed. Using the home address is a step towards trying to establish tenancy and we do not allow that. There are local services where you can rent a PO Box or have packages delivered to an Amazon Locker.
~~~~~~~ELECTRICITY~~~~~~~~~
The State of California expects residents to act responsibly with electricity usage. Our energy costs are high and are tiered--meaning the more you use, the more we are charged per KWh. If we are alerted to excessive and careless energy use, you will be charged for the additional charges. If you consume more than 20% more than what is typical, you may be charged extra.
~~~~~~~~~SECURITY CAMERA~~~~~~~~~
There is a Eufy security camera with sound, outside the home at the upper right corner of the garage, pointed towards the driveway and the only pathway leading to the entrance of my home. It will be turned on during your stay.
