About this house rental

The Granary is a rare Grade II listed building, lovingly restored and standing proudly on its original staddle stones beneath a classic ‘chocolate box’ thatched roof. One of the few remaining buildings of its kind in Kent, it has been sensitively preserved by skilled craftsmen, retaining its beautiful oak-boarded interior while offering a warm and comfortable escape for two. Inside, the ground floor offers a cosy living area with a Smart TV and broadband, a well-equipped kitchen with a fridge stocked with fresh milk, soft drinks and a locally sourced welcome pack, and a compact shower room next door with soft Egyptian cotton towels and luxury toiletries. Upstairs, a mezzanine loft bedroom overlooks the living area and creates a romantic, characterful sleeping space, complete with Graham & Brown bedding, non allergenic pillows and duvets. Outside, there is a private patio and a small enclosed lawn, perfect for morning coffee or a quiet afternoon. Preston is a charming village with a friendly pub, butchers and village shop. Sandwich, Canterbury and the Kent coastline are all within easy reach.
