Silvia was always on top of communication. She made sure to be available as soon as we got to the home and showed us around and how everything worked. She even had fresh mangoes for us as well. She sent us so many recommendations for restaurants and grocery stores and everything we’d need in the surrounding area. She was also able to help us if we needed to book activities or excursions at a local rate than what we found online. The place was beautiful and felt very tropical. The outdoor bathroom shower was the highlight of the place with the outdoor patio. The home is surrounded by the most beautiful tropical plants and we were able to see exotic birds, toucans, iguanas, and lizards. I highly recommend renting a car as everything was about 15-25 minutes away. The roads are very easy to navigate and all activities including the town central, hot springs, Ziplining, waterfall hikes were very easy to get to.

This was one of our favorite parts of our 10 day trip to Costa Rica as a family of 4 with 2 teenagers. Off the beaten path- felt like you were right in the rain forest. The outside was pristine and the outdoor shower was amazing. Only time inside was to sleep. Near activities but away from the business of La Fortuna, with a fruit stand right in next door. Hosts were incredible and very accommodating and welcoming. Highly recommend the Hummingbird Jungle and would definitely return!!!

It could not have been any better! Silvia was great, we enjoyed the house, especially the outside sitting area and the outdoor shower. Silvia was amazing, great host and great travel help. She recommended and booked some great tours for us! Would highly recommend this house.
