Taos Chalet in Taos Ski Valley is an incredible home waiting to welcome your family for a fun and relaxation close to everything this area has to offer. For those seeking winter lodging, this is so close to the base area. Expert/fit skiers and boarders will have no problem hiking and skiing to ski lifts from this location and back at the end of the day, while families will want to park in the public lots and grab the free shuttle to the lift 1 base. In Summer this is super close to many hiking trails, including Wheeler Peak, Williams Lake and so many other gems. Taos Ski Valley is about 20 minute drive to the Village of Arroyo Seco, 30 minutes to gas and great dining in El Prado, and about 35 minutes to the town of Taos.

On the mountain in Taos Ski Valley. Great house near the slopes. Perfect set up for two families and a bunch of kids in the loft. Need four wheel drive to reach as roads are not paved around the mountain and the house is on a hill. Not quite ski in-ski out. A little walk to the slopes which can be tough after a long day of skiing, but plenty of parking at the base. Kitchen is one of the best stocked and could not have asked for more from the location.

For two families we found this cabin to be just right! From the location to the layout of the home we just loved our stay. Each family had two children so four all together staying upstairs in the loft. They had a vacation of their own as the sleeping arrangements and loft space proved to be everything you'd hope for. The bunkbeds, center bed with trundle and the little nook with a bed gave each child their choice of comfort. The two bedrooms for adults held the same comfort level. The kitchen was extremely well stock allowing for wonderful nights cooking in. I'm the parent who stays in enjoying all the cabin offers while the rest are on the mountain all day. The location was directly above town allowing me to drive in very easily for lunch or to meeting the rest of the crew. Same for lessons, the kids all enjoyed both ski and snowboarding lessons daily. We couldn't get them off the mountain. Highly recommend Taos and this chalet!!

Absolutely beautiful! First class accommodations, comfortable beds, complete kitchen perfect for cooking for a big family. We are a family of 8 with 4 young adult boys (16-21) -all in the loft with plentyof space, grandparents (80s) main floor bedroom, and my husband and I, in the nice quiet first floor bedroom. Everyday was hiking, fishing, golfing, rock climbing, rafting, kayaking, and everything was only a short drive from our base camp home! Best of all was the early evening on the deck with drinks and beautiful views as the backdrop to engaging conversations. I highly recommend this home. We hope to return!

Excellent for 2 families. Plenty of bathrooms. Hot water wasn’t an issue even when everybody showering after ski. Clean. Very comfortable with well equipped kitchen. 30 min walk to lift 1 base. 4wd IS NEEDED to access the driveway with snow
