About this farm stay rental
Set on a private 4-acre property with sweeping Adirondack Mountain views, the home has 3 bedrooms (with the option of turning a 4th room upstairs with a futon into a bedroom), 2 bathrooms, and over 2,000 sq. ft. of thoughtfully furnished living space. The layout is well suited for both quiet study and family life, with an office, separate dining area, and spacious living room with abundant natural light. Children's furniture such as a crib and playpen are available upon request.
A modern, fully equipped kitchen makes cooking at home easy, and the house includes high-speed internet, cozy reading by the wood stove, and comfortable furniture throughout. The bedrooms are peaceful and bright. Full bathrooms on each floor.
One of our favorite features of our home is its 300+ sq. ft. of covered and screened porches—perfect for early-morning reading, outdoor meals, or simply enjoying the mountain air. There is also an outdoor shower, a great addition in the warmer months.
The property includes a two-car garage with an EV charger hookup, in addition to enough outdoor parking for two other cars. Middlebury’s libraries, campus events, lectures, and arts performances are all a short drive away, as are trailheads, swimming spots, local farms, and the beloved Middlebury Co-op. The Bread Loaf School of English and Writers’ Conferences are equally accessible.
Available for short- or longer-term stays, the home is an excellent fit for faculty, writers, researchers, families, or anyone seeking a quiet and inspiring place to live and work.If you’d like additional photos or a video walk-through, please reach out.
