Originally a General Store, Bramble house of Bloomingdale was built in the early 1800s. It had also served overnight guests when traveling salesmen would pass through by wagon. Several years it served as Bloomingdale Bible church teen house. Completely renovated in 2024, the house sits on Bloomingdale Corners just outside of Sweet Valley. It’s 8.5 miles from Rickett’s Glen State Park, or route 11, Shickshinny. Susquehanna Steam Electric Station- Talen Energy is 12 miles/20 minutes.
With its own entrance, Bramble House rooms are Located on the 2nd floor. There is a total of 3 rooms and 2 baths. You will find Justin’s Bunk with a private bath listed to book. If traveling with others Loie’s Suite could share this bath as it’s a Jack and Jill, if desired. Laura’s Room is currently not listed as we keep this room available for someone in need.
