About this apartment rental
Studio suite with views of the valley, offers a fresh, clean getaway for two. The south west facing deck overlooks BX farmlands, Vernon, Okanagan lake and mountains beyond. Steps to the Grey Canal trail that follows BX creek to waterfall, or several kms along Silver Star Foothills.
Suite is named after the 'Hidden Rose' apple grown in our orchard, a surprisingly red fleshed apple in which you discover a hidden rose when you look inside. Around the 10 acre property you will meet 4 spoilt sheep, 3 pampered geese, some doted on ducks and a cute rooster (Harry) roaming the lower part of the farm near the apple orchard. The quiet gravel road adjoining the property ends here with walking path continuing to creekside trail.
The private entrance to the suite is from the front yard into a small kitchenette and living area with queen bed, table for two, tv and couch. Bathroom has 2 sinks, plenty of storage and a shower stall. The suite has been divided from the main house by insulated walls, ceiling and a double doorway including a locked insulated exterior door on one side for added privacy of guests.
Close to downtown Vernon (10 mins), central to lakes, parks, Sovereign Nordic Centre and 25 mins to Silver Star Resort. Cambium Cidery and Restaurant, 2 mins. Quiet place to relax and enjoy the sunsets over the Okanagan hillsides.

Beautiful, peaceful location, clean & cute apartment, and friendly & responsive hosts! The bed was super comfortable. We were grateful to be able to stay in a pet-friendly place near some nice walking trails.

Six of us rented this suite plus Gala House next to it, for a ski trip. It was everything we needed: pet friendly, spacious, and close to Silver Star and Sovereign Lake. The views from both the suite and the house are stunning. We enjoyed the hot tub, the birdsong and the trails from the house. Patrick was available but we really didn't need anything. We hope to come back.
