Retro-Chic Hideaway - Walking Distance To Stampede

Very cute looking. I liked the kitchen. Comfy, cozy. Nice bed and bedroom but not cotton sheets. The location felt safe and nice to walk around.

Not cotton sheets. Bathtub was dented and dingy but clean. Major drawback was that the living room couch was dirty, and the cute carpet was really dirty. The entrance closet was in disrepair.

All would probably be fine if we hadn’t paid a 3x premium (judging by prices for this neighborhood at other dates) for this property because of the Stampede. Caulking sloppily applied like kids fingerpaint everywhere there was caulking, stained and collecting dirt; a tub with permanent staining; a surge protector serving way too many appliances and dangling in the air on the end of one plug - it’s the most slapped together place we’ve ever stayed in for any price. But to have paid a stratospheric price for this - we felt like we’d been played.
