Iconic 1 BR Harbour View Apartment

We loved the view and the location. The transport options were alao good.

Too much clutter. There are artificial flowers, plants and beads everywhere, they clutter all the surfaces where visitors should be able to put their stuff. There was no "welcome book". This is a standard in any accommodation booking. It should contain information about what to do in the area, like where to buy your morning coffee, because the instant coffee in the apartment was "bloody awful". Even an Aldi pod. machine would suffice. The book should contain transport options, the closest supermarkets etc. The kitchen cupboards were a serious problem. You need to be over 6ft to reach the plates, cups etc. Wiyhout my husband being there i would not have been able to function. The cupboards were really disorganised and unclean and there was stuff everywhere. The owners need to clean this area up and move the crockery to the drawers under the table.

Heerlijke uitvalsbasis voor een aantal dagen Sydney. Vlakbij Ferry (McMahan, Blue Point) en dan ben je met paar minuutjes aan overkant bij The Rocks en Opera House. Fantastisch gezicht vanuit het appartement op Harbour Bridge, Opera House en skyline Sydney. Ligt ook in leuke wijk.

Perfect location right next to the ferry wharf and with bus access along with the best views of Sydney. We were here 12 nights and only paid $1692 so it really helped cost wise especially with the fact we could do our own cooking. Service from the crew was helpful as the microwave had issues and they swiftly got a replacement sorted. I will tell you all the place is definitely old so there are some wear and tear bits on the walls and doors but it was cleaned brilliantly to what was able to be done. The view, the barbecue area downstairs and the accessibility just makes it better than most places. If we see a ripper of a deal like what we got come up again we will return. Sydney is an expensive city and that cost made our trip so much more manageable

The security guard at night was a bit gruff. He got annoyed when my second friend (3 people stayed which includes myself) arrived as his flight came in just before 11pm and he kept questioning us as if we weren’t supposed to be here despite multiple apartments being rented out and the fact I booked for the 3 of us. He kept hassling one of my mates too when he had to go outside at night multiple times to make phone calls to people from home by walking out to him (while he was on the phone) saying “where’s your key to get back in” when we always gave him a key for when he had to go outside those times. He shouldn’t be getting annoyed at people who are doing absolutely nothing wrong. And another time when my mate came back just after 9pm (I came back before him and had the key) he had to get let in the main entrance and he was again gruff saying “where’s your key” despite the fact at the time we only knew we had one key before I asked if there was a spare. That’s probably the only not so good thing about the place
