Very central and yet peaceful, lovely helpful host, great instructions, a good set up. The toilet was a fun feature. It was EXTREMELY hot, and the only complaint was that the flat simply could not be cooled
The extreme heat made the bathroom like a sauna, another fan would have been great, but it was record breaking heat so..!

Amazing location just a couple of minutes walk from Notting Hill Gate tube station. Lots of restaurants and pubs nearby, and just a short walk to Kensington Gardens / Hyde Park. The property itself is small but perfectly formed, with good modern facilities (who doesn't love a Japanese toilet?), a comfy bed, and decent wifi. Up one and half flights of stairs. Genuinely lovely little place to stay.
We were there during a heatwave, and like most UK properties it doesn't have aircon so it definitely got muggy in there; but they provided a fan on arrival, and the windows would open enough to let some air flow. Also, if you are taller than about 5'9" / 176cm, you will have to crouch while walking around the mezzanine bedroom area. There's a roof terrace, but note that there's a lot of further steps to take to access it.
