The Cerritos Beach Inn

Loved the location! Right on the beach with a private patio, it was mostly peaceful, secluded, and the perfect off-the-grid getaway. When we walked into our room, we literally gasped—it was absolutely stunning.

The only TV was in the common area and was mounted on the wall shared with our room, so we could clearly hear soccer games and other programs. In the evenings, both guests and staff were often quite loud, making it difficult to relax or get a good night’s sleep as we hoped.

As we say in Mexico, “venimos buscando cobre y encontramos oro.” Cerritos Beach Inn is not just a hotel, it’s a home. The kind of place where you’re welcomed the same way you are when you arrive at the house of your favorite relatives. We came to celebrate Father’s Day with my fiancé, our little dog, and my parents. Ricardo welcomed us with a warmth as radiant as the Baja sun. Our dog was greeted with welcome treats and her own water bowl. We felt at home from the very first minute. Every single item on the menu was delicious, with the comforting taste of homemade cooking. Sleeping here was a delight as well, lulled to sleep by the sound of the ocean. Everyone on the staff from the bar team to housekeeping was incredibly kind and always greeted us with a smile! We’re leaving wishing we could stay a few more days, and we will definitely be back very soon!
