La ubicación bien, aunque me encantaria si vuelvo a Matera estar ubicada en el centro historico

Location and cleanliness

Extremely Spartan. A set in bunks in an already small area. There was nothin to sit on except the bed or low Ottoman. A small table and 2 chairs would have been helpful . The couple staying next door, had their bike gear hanging over kitchen chair in our common and also bike boots airing. Not somewhere we chose to sit in. The shower was for the size of a doll. We are both average size people and barely able to stand to wash in the cubicle. A shelf in the bathroom is needed. On returning at 9pm we could not find the aircon remote. Although the light to the aircon unit was glowing, so did have power to it. On enquiring to the owner, she said there had been a power surge and it was not working…funny as the next door couple had their aircon going. As the owners knew the aircon was not working they should have left a fan for us as with such one small window there was little air in our hot room. Leading to a very uncomfortable night. For breakfast, we were told, there would be a croissant available at 9am. If you are a tourist, 9am to wait for is very unreasonable. We went searching and found our own breakfast at a very nice cafe nearby.
