Repton Cottage in the Heart of the Village

I think this cottage is a real gem. On this occasion, the purpose of our visit was proximity to Repton School for a sports event. The location is perfect.... near enough, yet far enough from the school grounds !! The cottage is very thoughtfully designed and really well equipped. We 'stayed home' on both nights, as the kitchen was so well equipped and a handy convenience store is just around the corner- there was little point to go out. But a local pubs within walking distance did look tempting. Bed and sofa-bed very comfortable. Great bathroom - with terrific water pressure for all the showers. My only regret would be, that we couldn't stay longer. The drive back to London brought us through some wonderful vintage villages. I would have loved to stay longer. Couldn't happen this time - but a return visit, is high on the wish-list.

I can't think of anything. The property was very honestly described and the photos well taken. It would not feel right to criticise, as the owner did a very thorough job of describing the property.

Perfect communication with owner everything explained perfectly, and Sarah was very amenable even when I was being a little awkward with my arrival time. NOTHING was too much trouble.

It ticked all the boxes for our visit, beautifully decorated and great facilities, nothing more you could have asked for. Repton area is lovely and this was a great base to be staying in.

Great location in the middle of the village close to amenities. Very homely and a high standard property.
