Villa Marea Private Pool in Grand Baie with garden, BBQ & Parking

We had an absolutely fantastic stay and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Tooshina and Dev (Hosts) were friendly, welcoming, and always available to assist when needed. The house itself was beautiful, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. This was in a prime location which is only 2KM from the beach and other tourist areas. One of the highlights was the pool, which was spotless and perfect for enjoying the warm weather. The sauna was an unexpected bonus and added an extra touch of luxury to our stay. Overall, everything exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable, enjoyable, and memorable getaway, and we would definitely stay here again.

The only area that could perhaps be improved is bug control around the property. We understand that this is largely part of the tropical environment in Mauritius and not something entirely within the host's control. However, a few additional preventative measures to reduce the number of insects around the outdoor areas could make the stay even more enjoyable.

The breakfast was served on time and according to my preference.

The environment was very clean and peaceful

La casa es como en las fotos. Muy bonita. No le falta detalle, tiene mucho menaje, sombrillas, cesta de picnic, nevera portátil, sillas para la playa. Parking a la puerta. Televisión con SmartTV. Todo muy limpio.

El camino de acceso está fatal, lleno de baches y socavones. Las camas son incómodas, colchones de mala calidad. Si no fuera por este detalle, que para mi es lo más importante de una casa, la casa sería de 10, pero todo lo demás es maravilloso. A pocos metros de la casa hay una charca, lo que significa que por las noches la terraza esté plagada de mosquitos.

The villa matched the description and was very clean and nicely set up with flowers and fruit basket on arrival. It was fully equipped along with thoughtful extras like beach chairs, picnic and cooler bags that were useful when going out. The hosts were very welcoming and responsive, which made the experience even better. The location was also convenient and very easy to find on main road which meant there was no need to drive into rough unpaved rocky roads like in some areas of the north with the rental car. It was a truly lovely stay and would definitely return.

My stay was definitely too short.
