The neighbours from upstairs are very loud and every step they make will be heard from the apartment. In some places it feels like the apartment is shaking when neighbours are making steps (probably because it is an old builing of Rome). It happens too when we were walking in the apartment, in the living room the furniture was shaking.

Ho soggiornato in questo splendido appartamento per una trasferta di lavoro e non avrei potuto fare scelta migliore.. Situato a pochissimi minuti a piedi da Montecitorio, dai principali Ministeri e da diverse Ambasciate, ho potuto gestire i miei appuntamenti spostandomi esclusivamente a piedi, evitando completamente il traffico romano. La vicinanza alla stazione Metro Barberini è stata fondamentale per me per raggiungere velocemente la Stazione Termini o altre zone della città. La centralissima Via del Corso e l'area di Piazza di Spagna sono a un passo, ideali per una cena di lavoro o per staccare dopo una lunga giornata tra le boutique migliori del mondo. L'appartamento, all’interno di un palazzo storico, è stato perfetto per me, che cerco riservatezza e autonomia.. I soffitti a travi e i dettagli d'epoca mi hanno offerto quell'atmosfera di prestigio che un hotel standard non può dare. L'accoglienza dei proprietari, al check in , è stata puntuale e professionale. Mi hanno fornito consigli logistici preziosi su parcheggi e ristoranti meno turistici ma di altissima qualità, perfetti per pranzi di lavoro veloci. Consigliatissimo per trasferte di lavoro, o per una splendida vacanza a Roma!

This property is well located about 5 min walking distance from the Trevi Fountain and about 25 min from the Coloseum. There is a grocery store around the corner and a couple of small cafes. A couple of restaurants as well. The appartment is quiet with a seperate bedroom. Communication with Kevin, the property manager was great. There is only one key card which you will have to place in a card holder in order for the light to turn on and take it with you when leaving the apartment. Once you leave the apartment, the power goes off so nothing can be charged, tablets, phones, etc. Air conditioner is off too. There was not a problem for us but something to keep in mind if you travel with more people and want to split.

The kitchen is very, very basic and small. Hard to wash dishes as the sink is flipped. No oil, salt, pepper, etc. The knives are dull. We found dirty dishes in the cabinets. I am assuming the previous people just rinsed them vs washing them. The apartment has a washing machine but the owner discouraged us from using it so I am assuming it is probably not in good shape. She said that if we break it, we have to pay for it. I didn't even see any detergent. This was our first city to visit so it wasn't that much of an issue but the listing should not include the washer if it can't be used. The shower is tiny so keep that in mind. I am a small person and was bumping my elbows. We were also told that we can't enter the apartment until the city tax is paid either in cash or via transfer. This was not communicated prior to the arrival so we scrambled. In other apartments, owners were very flexible aboutthat.. Also, keep in mind that there is no elevator. It wasn't a problem for us but it could be an issue for people with heavy luggage. I was really looking forward to staying there as other reviews were great but I was disappointed.
