it was far above my expectation and i think they are doing their best.

This place was great! Clean rooms, big bathrooms, comfy bed, daily cleaning service, free water, a good Georgian breakfast with nice coffee in the lobby and the best part was the service. Everyone working at the counter was super friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again.

One thing to be aware of is that the hotel is across the street from two gas stations and the river. Some rooms on the lower floors look out into the gas stations. The floors higher up have a nicer view of the river. It's worth checking out the terrace for a nice view.

The breakfast was outstanding Our room was big after our expensive upgrade but cool and very comfortable. The hotel is new so very clean and slick. Free local wine on arrival and free water. Room cleaned with new towels each day.

The double room we booked was not inexpensive to avoid a small space. We paid more than the rest of our holiday for some comfort. We arrived and the room was way too small. We couldn't put a suitcase on the floor to open it. No storage space and view of a hotel at the back. It was too late to cancel for a refund so I asked for a bigger room upgrade. We got a suite on the 6th floor with a view of the park from the huge windows. I paid the extra in a panic about needing a bigger room and presumed that it wouldn't be too much more money. I later checked and it was more expensive to upgrade than we paid for the original room ! I was told this was a booking.com algorithm because it was weekend and last minute change. The original room was booked a week in advance. So obviously very annoyed and upset. Equivalent of £185 a night ! For that you expect luxury .. especially in Georgia! Instead ... No Storage space at all so we couldnt unpack even in the bigger room. Tiny balcony which we didnt use as the traffic was so noisy. No nice bathroom kits with shower cap etc. Thin slippers but no robes. Thin small towels. Only mirror in the bathroom. I had to kneel on the toilet to put my makeup on! No pictures, no frills, no milk to make coffee and tea even though there was a kettle and fridge. No gentle lighting options just off and on. No bar or lounge area downstairs. Very bizarre hotel pretending to be luxury but failing.
