Ocean Cove Condo Key Largo Locus Maris

Beautifully decorated and clean unit! It was exactly as pictured on website with everything we wanted or needed. Short walk to the pool and small beach on site. The pool & pool deck as well as the pool bathroom were all spotless. Perfect water temp in pool and hot tub. Any staff we encountered were lovely. All of the guests were pleasant and friendly as well. My kids always had other great kids to play with. The landscaping was nicely kept and just right. The location to grocery stores, restaurants and the state park was ideal for us. Less than 5 min from a great Winn Dixie.

The couch was uncomfortable to sit on and noisy. The pillows for all beds were rather flat. The elevator was frequently out of order; there was a notice indicating it sometimes is out of service so it's an issue that management is aware of, but I don't know about plans to repair. Keep in mind if using stairs is a concern. There were pieces of siding along building that were hanging by a thread. Our building had outdoor games (4 in a row, darts, ping pong, billiards) which is an awesome thought, but all of the items were in poor condition/broken. The ping pong table was only up on 2 legs & in an unsafe position, rusting hardware. The pockets of pool table were broken so couldn't hold the balls. It would leave a better impression to put it all in the dump and not have any of it out. The beach is very small and depending on where you are from, it may not be what you are used to or expecting. It would have been nice to have kayaks or paddleboards to borrow or rent on site.
