Premium Studio in Nimman

Great location and very comfortable

A little bit of confusion about the key and lock box to begin. But was sorted out in a timely manner.

Excellent location for 1 Nimman and Maya centres. Recently refurbished to a high standard.

Hillside 4 is a bit run down lots of empty units type of neglect however the lobby and public areas within the condominium were well kept.

Renovated maybe a year or two ago so most of the things look new. AC is not stinky. A desk, a table, a bedside desk. Balcony protected from pigeons. Washing machine. Hot water mostly stable. Towels and extra linen were in the room. No stinky smells from anywhere including drains. Some basic items like sponges, tissues, dishwashing liquid, a broom/dustpan, glasses, a couple of (old) frying pans, trash bags. The water pressure was just Ok, not wow. 4 chairs, two sofas (pretty comfy). 👍The host responded positively to my complaint about the cleanliness of the premises, even though I had to insist on it, and a crew was scheduled to remedy that. The apartment complex (Hillside 4) is a well-known condo spot in the area so it's quite alive and maintained (at least not left behind like some other buildings were). There is a designated delivery and pick-up spot. It is in the heart of Nimman if that's your thing.

🤦Was very dirty when we checked in, as if someone left in a hurry. Personal leftover items in drawers and the shower (eg. an almost empty bottle of Listerine). The floor was so dirty that running a slipper on a dirty spot actually removed the dirt. Yellow fatty liquid drops leaking from the kitchen exhaust 🤮. The fridge had traces of food in it. Soap traces everywhere. Dining seats all dirty, even the dining table was not thoroughly cleaned. Bed linen was quite simple too. The bed is basically IKEA. The toilet was dirty to The internet was only about 50-100Mbps (as per fast.com), dropping to 30Mbps in the evening, despite the fiber cable 👎 They just need a better plan. We were surprised because normally in that area internet connectivity is really solid (1Gbps) due to being catered for digital nomads. The projector is cool but absolutely useless without an HDMI cable (not provided). The UI is only in Chinese, can't be changed. We asked for a clothes dryer out on the balcony and the host said they had one. Turns out it's something like two computer monitor arms on the balcony to which one can attach pegs, but the pegs are not strong and wet clothes just fall down. Not a comfortable setup at all. Communication with the host was patchy, as in, a lot of misunderstanding, especially during the check-in. The box with the keys was for some reason hidden amid a lot of unrelated items next to the vending machine so it took ages to find it. Being at the very heart of Nimman, you basically feel like at an airport with planes buzzing by every few minutes directly overhead, but that's true pretty much anywhere in Nimman. Another headache during the check-in was the payment issues. The property processes payments instead booking.com. At first the host provided an invoice for a bank transfer which none of our banks could accept (perhaps the specifics of the multi-country setup), so we had to rush to get cash in hand for someone to pick up. Wasted some time with that.
