About this house rental
Cozy 3 BD/2 BA home, that serves as a perfect secluded getaway to relax and connect with nature near the lake with a focus on privacy. Set on fully fenced 1.3 acres with tree lined buffered boundaries, private remote controlled electric gate access and personal nature trail leading down to the creek feeding into Lake. Creek access allows for launching of a canoe or kayak onto the lake directly from the property.
You will begin to decompress and feel at home from the moment you access the property by entering through the long private driveway that curves down to the home. As the gate closes behind you and you disappear among the trees, exhale and prepare to relax away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Peacefully experience nature by taking a stroll along the walkaway, through the trees, or sit creekside and spot fish, turtles, birds, and squires play, all while not having to leave the property.
Inside experience the open layout, offering views of the outdoors from every room, surrounded by decor that invites you to relax, with warm earth tones and furniture that prioritizes comfort over trendiness. Get cozy around the fireplace in the living room or stay connected to the outdoors in the sun room overlooking the rear of the property and creek. A fully appointed kitchen with all the necessities to make your favorite homecooked meals awaits. This was such a relaxing and well appointed house to spend our Christmas holiday in! My family and I were hoping to spend the holidays in a cottage like setting, in the woods, not too far away from our home in Houston; and this far exceeded our expectations. The hosts provided everything we needed to make ourselves comfortable; including linens, cookware, and even a Nespresso machine.The house is very spacious and well maintained; it has a very nice, warm, cozy modern feel. There are plenty of opportunities for family time in the living room or sun room or alone time in one of the bedrooms. We didn't need the third bedrooms, with the twin beds; but the other two beds in the master and full bedroom were very comfortable.There is access to the water through a path from the backyard; or if you are feeling adventurous, there is a brewery at the end of the road that also offers boat rentals! I had a few work things I needed to take care of over the break; and the wi-fi was very fast.My family and I would definitely recommend and visit this VBRO again.

This was such a cute little house I found for a quick trip with some of my girl friends! Just a heads-up when arriving: the driveway entrance is right off 2457, so it helps to slow down as you get close to the property. The home itself has a cute 90s vibe and felt super cozy and comfortable throughout our stay. While the house sits off to the side of lake Livingston, there’s a short walk down a slope into the water that gives it more of a peaceful, creek-side feel. The yard is spacious and great for hanging out, the living room and the bedrooms were cozy and comfortable. This was perfect for relaxing and winding down. Overall, it was a really comfy, cozy, enjoyable stay and I’d definitely book again.
