About this cottage rental
Enjoy a peaceful stay at this 1-bedroom sweet little cottage with fireplace in Lilaia. The welcoming space features a full bed and a cozy living room with a sofa bed, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Guests find the bathroom tranquil, equipped with a refreshing shower and a handy hair dryer. Climate control keeps the house comfortable year-round, while thoughtful touches like an iron add convenience. Whether you’re unwinding indoors or planning your next adventure, this awesome retreat offers a calm and inviting atmosphere. a) Coffee & Beverages
Nespresso machine with capsules, filter coffee maker, Greek coffee pot, Nescafé, a selection of herbal teas, and both white and brown sugar.
b) Kitchen Facilities
Two electric cooktops, essential cookware, toaster, kettle, refrigerator, and a Moulinex air fryer/grill for quick meal preparation or reheating food for 2–3 people.
c) Heating & Cooling
Winter: Electric radiator with adjustable temperature, and a fireplace (kindling and a 12+ kg bag of firewood provided).
Summer: Air conditioning and window screens.
d) Sleeping Arrangements
A semi-double comfortable mattress (1.30 m width) with a topper, plus two sofas (one converts into a bed suitable for a child or adult). A baby travel cot is also available upon request for children up to 3 years old.
e) Entertainment
TV with Greek channels and free satellite channels, Netflix (profiles: Akis/Maria), and Apple TV with access to TV+ and Apple Music.
f) Internet
High-speed internet (150+ Mbps download via 4G+ router) with unlimited data.
g) Personal Care
Individual shower gel/shampoo sets and disposable fabric slippers for adults.
h) Hairdryer
Travel-size hairdryer available.
i) Outdoor Space
Folding table, two chairs, and cushions for the stone bench in the patio area by the entrance, along with a large umbrella for shade in the summer.

Be prepared for a small but very cozy studio apartment. It's amazing how well they use the small space to provide wonderful amentities. The communication with the host was early and as often as we needed. Very friendly and attentive. The cottage has old world charm but is clean and great wifi, making it well suited to modern needs. We had a nice fire and there's a great heater (and ac if needed). Perhaps could be a little drafty in the winter but we were there in late April and had both cold rain (45 degrees Fahrenheit) and warm sun (75 degrees F) and were perfectly comfortable and cozy. The little village is picturesque and we found good food near by and also used the stove and small fridge. Really felt like we had left the USA far behind and embraced a truly Greek mountain village life for a few days. Oh there's lots to do in the area. If you're there in winter, there's obviously skiing/snowboarding at Parnassous but in spring, summer, fall you're within an hour drive to Delphi, Arachova, Pavliani forest park, Themopolea (don't be too shy to soak in the hot gates!), the sea at Itea/Kirra and much more. I almost hate to leave such a great review for fear of drawing to much attention to this remarkable gem of a place. Perfect place for a couple, small family or solo artist retreat.
