Prepare grand meals and lake picnic snacks in the open-concept kitchen, equipped with stainless steel appliances, ample cupboard room, a floating island breakfast bar, and a formal dining table. Great layout and space inside and out. Beautiful, clean home and newly remodeled. Comfortable beds. Pack & Plays available for the tiniest guests 😀. Well stocked. It seems the owners thought of everything - like phone chargers in every room, ample bath towels so you never have to worry about not having a clean one available, and lots of things to entertain yourself with. Loved playing the family games available at the home. Friendly neighbors. Owner was super responsive and helpful.
Just a couple things to be aware of, the water had dirt in it during our entire stay (4 nights) so I had to shower my young kids rather than bathe them (it was super brown when I tried bathing them). The boat lift is not available for guests’ boats even though the picture on the listing shows it empty. Wasn’t a big issue for us, but something worth knowing in advance. I should have verified, but was rushing to book when our previous reservation cancelled on us last minute. Overall we absolutely loved the rental and would definitely consider renting again for our annual Thanksgiving trip to TX.

Loved the house, beautifully decorated and a nice layout. Everything is new and in working order and modern. The property manager took awhile to answer me with valid questions following the status of the home, wifi, property following the Beryl Hurricane. The lawn had not been mowed in awhile and the tall grass was a danger for visibility of holes, stumps and snakes. The Livingston Dam is retaining the water, so we couldn't put our boat in the slip which was tough as the driveway is on an incline. The owner's neighbor offered to mow the lawn, but almost for a tip instead of having a lawn service during grass growing season. No one got hurt, but with grandkids 7 and 4 it was annoying.

The house was great and very well stocked. However when we arrived, there were dirty dishes in the sink and the laundry room
Doors were broke and not attached.
We also tried for a month, before our stay, to connect with someone regarding this house. Not sure if that problem was with VRBO or vacasa but it was very frustrating.
