Inside, the 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom home is cozy and inviting—thoughtfully furnished for comfort and ease. You’ll find everything you need for a relaxed stay for up to 4 guests: a well-stocked kitchen, fresh linens, and cozy spaces to unwind after a day of exploring.
Step out back onto the screened porch to enjoy your morning coffee or gather for dinner at the picnic table surrounded by open yard and trees, fully surrounded by a new fence. With plenty of driveway parking and a rare sense of privacy so close to town, this spot blends small-town serenity with big-city convenience—perfect for a quiet getaway, work trip, or visit with family.
This home requires approximately 18 steps to get from the driveway to the front door, so guests with mobility issues should take heed.

Full disclosure- I ended up checking into a hotel instead. Host was great and issued a full refund for the inconvenience. First the positive- it was a very cute cottage, perfect for a small family. Location was excellent and it was easy to find. The negative part of my experience was based on the fact that the HVAC system was set to heat when I arrived during a week where temps were in the 80’s. When I switched the thermostat to AC, the temperature continued to rise because it was blowing hot air. I reached out immediately to the management company and communication was excellent. They understood that I wouldn’t be able to stay without working AC. Secondary issue was that the house had a musty mildewy smell from being closed up for a long time. Opening the windows wasn’t an option because everything is green with pollen right now. Guests with allergies and asthma beware.
