Aileen Layan Villa 2 Private Pool 4Bedroom

Location was great, short drive to Banana or Choeng Thale beach. House was clean, nicely finished and private. Beach towels were provided and there is parking for 2 cars if you can park well and done have 2 full sized SUVs.

First of all, the property does not have 4 king sized beds! It has 3 and 1 room with a single bed, after pointing this out we were brought an extra bed, that had to be put in a room with a king size bed. (the first mistake in their system) The day before arriving I received an Whatsapp invite to a group chat with 10 unknown people. I was told payment was not made and I was send a payment link. As I paid directly through booking.com I did not pay again and what ensued was 18h of uncertainty as they kept demanding proof of payment, which I gave, including proof from booking.com. None of this was accepted as proof and despite my insistence they contact booking.com it wasn't until a few hours before our arrival it was accepted. (another technical mistake in their system) Upon arriving we discovered a big pile of trash right in front of the house, disposed of by the cleaners and trash from previous tenants, that remained there for the 6 days we were there! Attracting rats, cats, dogs and god knows what else. The rat became a regular sight next to the pool right after sunset. The pool was not clean, filled with leaves and beer caps. This was fixed the next morning. The people showing up are nice and professional, but we got the feeling they are forced to follow some very strange rules and instructions by their managers. All in all, communication was chaotic and unpredictable, someone would be there without notice and would not be there when they said they would be. The workers did their best, but the way its handled at the moment is simply unprofessional and chaotic. The house it self is beautiful, nicely finished with plenty of privacy and once the construction in the direct area is done it will be a nice and quiet place. We will not return here because it was just to much hassle and uncertainty dealing with the unpredictability of the agency.
