Villa Navegante com Piscina Privada em Vilamoura

We had a lovely stay at the villa overall and really enjoyed the location. The pool was a particular highlight and it was great having a pool to ourselves. The villa was also spacious and comfortable, with a good number of bathrooms for the number of bedrooms. Comfortable sofa/living room and both indoor and outdoor dining areas.

There was a lack of communication from the point of booking, no messages were replied to and was just sent a check in link which didnt really work. It wasn’t until I phoned when we landed in faro that we were given check in instructions. I said we’d be checking in at 4 but we were slightly early so the cleaners kindly let us leave our cases while we waited for it to be finished. Unfortunately it was actually nearer 5pm by the time they had finished and left and we were told they only started at about 2pm. The villa could do with a bit of a refresh, particularly the sun loungers, as quite a few were either damaged or broken. There were also some loose tiles around the pool which could potentially be a safety concern. The downstairs shower has cracked and broken doors which makes it really difficult to not flood the floor and constantly required cleaning up. There were no floor towels/ hand towels/ extra towels in general. We also felt that some basic information was missing, such as where to put the bins, and a simple welcome guide would have been really helpful. Unfortunately, we also experienced a 12-hour electricity outage at the beginning of our stay and felt there was a lack of communication from the host regarding this. We were getting no replies and having to phone and text multiple times for updates. When an electrician did come, the switch that there was an issue with was actually in a locked box - unsure why?
