Spacious room in Majorstuen central Oslo by subway

Very good location - central and near to train station. Hosts are very communicative and quick to respond. Felt comfortable and safe there, since each guest can lock their bedroom door. I had a very quick stay overnight so only met the host - didn't even see the other 2 guests. Many nice places nearby to walk to for eating and shopping!

I think it is maybe newer to booking/rent - there are minor things missing that would make it more convenient of a stay, like trash cans or mirrors in each room. Host will be renovating, so just be aware it's pleasant but older. It was not clear to me at booking that this was multiple rooms (5) with one shared separate toilet and one shared separate shower, so a little more like a hostel stay than a hotel / room, but still have your own privacy. It is ground floor, so even though it was quiet time by 23:00, there was a plow or something up until midnight on the street.

The location is amazing. It’s right next to a tram and bus stop and a short walk from a station with all the metro lines. There are also multiple supermarkets within minutes, including one that was open on New Year’s Day. The place is clean and cleaned regularly by a very nice lady. The kitchen is very nice and has almost everything you need. You can make some nice meals there.

There are five rooms total. This isn’t clear in the listing. We did not have any issues with the other people staying there but it is nice to know that there are quite a few people there. Adding a way to see if the toilet is occupied would be really good. Currently you have to figure out how the light switch is positioned when the light is on. Works but not ideal. The kitchen was very nice but lacked some basic cooking implements, like a spatula. Everything worked well though. The ceiling light in the bedroom did not always work. The title of the listing should be spacious room not spaceous room.
