Simply a beautiful property. We went in what I would consider the “off season” for galena (late Feb) and it was still so beautiful. Welcoming and cozy decor with a Victorian style, and a phenomenal duo - David and Brian - made the stay extremely thoughtful and wonderful. Beg them to make the lemon ricotta pancakes and the granola parfait - because OMG - phenomenal!
We enjoyed every bit. Only heads up that I would provide to a stranger would be that (like most of the b&bs) we saw - lots of stairs up from Main Street in galena if you plan to walk to and from your location. So get your stretching in beforehand. We liked it because it helped justify all the delicious food we indulged in!

The property is very close to Main St and is loaded with history! The breakfast was excellent and the hosts were some of the most welcoming and wonderful hosts I have ever meet.
This is a historic house so sound does travel between rooms. I was worried my boyfriend’s snoring might wake someone besides me up. Otherwise we loved this property.
