Ferienvilla "Casa Oriana" mit privatem Pool

Discover the charm of São Paio (near Gouveia) with a stay in our inviting holiday home, perfect for groups of up to 9 people (including a baby). This detached house is the ideal base for families or groups of friends looking for a relaxing stay amidst nature, with the convenience of domestic amenities and activities at your fingertips. The rustic surroundings offer an unrivalled opportunity to relax and enjoy the beauty of Região Centro. Casa Oriana is located at the foot of the beautiful Serra da Estrela Nature Geopark, in São Paio 4 km from the picturesque town of Gouveia . The fully renovated accommodation has 2 balconies at the front, an enclosed private terrace at the back with barbecue and washing-up facilities, a large dining table and patio furniture for 8 to 10 people. In summer (approximately from May to September) you can use the swimming pool and outdoor shower. This accommodation offers wide views of the São Paio valley and the mountains beyond. The spacious holiday home has a large lounge with balcony and 2 bedrooms, 1 with a double bed and 1 with 2 bunk beds, 1 bathroom with shower, toilet and sink, bed linen, towels, a large flat-screen TV with streaming services, a pull-out dining area, a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine and oven and various kitchen appliances, and a terrace with mountain views. The entire house is heated by central heating in winter. Solar energy is used for the stove and hot water, and the whole house has top-quality double-glazed tilt-and-turn windows. A private entrance via an external staircase (with a 2nd balcony) leads guests to the flat, where a bottle of wine and chocolates or biscuits can be enjoyed on welcome. Pets are allowed by arrangement and for an additional fee. Upon request, a baby cot and/or high chair will be added free of charge. Guests at the holiday home can enjoy activities in and around São Paio and in the Serra da Estrela, such as skiing, cycling and fishing. If you want to explore the surroundings, hiking and cycling tours are available in the area. You can also enjoy the many river beaches at the nearby Mondego and Alva rivers. In winter, ski slopes can be used at the highest point of the Serra da Estrela, the Torre. You can also go cross-country skiing and even skydiving. The distance from Casa Oriana to the Torre is 44 km and the route to the Torre offers breathtaking views. The thermal springs of Manteigas are 34 km from Casa Oriana. The beautiful mountain lake with sandy beach Vale do Rossim is 20 km away. Porto International Airport is 185 km from the accommodation. From Porto, there are bus connections to Gouveia from where you can easily reach Casa Oriana by taxi. Of course, you can also rent a car at Porto airport.
