The path to the lake has an altitude difference of about 1036 metres and the walk takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes.
The Maggia River flows through the valley, creating enchanting places where crystal-clear water flows between the rocks.
The alpine pastures of the Lavizzara Valley are an excellent choice for those seeking an authentic experience of alpine life and to immerse themselves in nature and local culture. Many alpine pastures produce local cheeses that you can taste directly on site.
