A beautiful quiet mountainous area. location is right on the water. Ideal for mountain walks to car-free villages in the mountains (Codera, Frasnedo) . Sport airfield is nearby. Madesimo is a cosy ski resort and in summer a nice hiking area. Still prefer more crowds. Colico, Bellano, Varenna, Dongo, Domaso, Bellagio and Milan are easy to reach by car and train.
