Welcome to our comfortable holiday home in a unique secluded location directly on the southern shore of Hjorten - one of Småland's large inland lakes. Situated between Vimmerby and Västervik, the house offers everything you could wish for from a relaxing holiday in the heart of Småland. Despite the quiet and natural location, the nearest supermarket is only 15 minutes away. A short walk to the lakeshore is all you need for a refreshing dip - the perfect place for a swim or a boat trip. Those who love wellness will also get their money's worth: an outdoor sauna and a jacuzzi - both with a fantastic view over the lake - ensure unforgettable moments of relaxation. Those who prefer to enjoy the peace and quiet outdoors can choose between the spacious west-facing terrace with panoramic views and the sunny south-facing balcony. And if the weather doesn't play ball, the hotel's own orangery invites you to enjoy a cosy and sheltered view of nature. The house itself is spacious and tastefully furnished. It has four bedrooms, two fully equipped bathrooms, a cosy living room with a wood-burning stove and a dining room - both with wonderful lake views. The modern kitchen leaves nothing to be desired: Cooker, oven, dishwasher, fridge-freezer with ice cube dispenser and microwave are available. There is also a washing machine with integrated tumble dryer. A rowing boat is available at the private jetty, which can be used free of charge. Fishing enthusiasts can easily purchase fishing licences at reasonable prices from the local flower shop in Hjorted. For vehicles, there is a garage with a parking space and further parking facilities on the driveway. There is also an electric car charging station in the garage, which is available to our guests (electricity consumption is charged separately). We are happy to provide bed linen and towels on request. Excursion tips in the surrounding area: Vimmerby, the home of Astrid Lindgren, is only 35 minutes away by car. A visit to "Astrid Lindgren's Värld" is a real highlight for young and old fans of Pippi Longstocking, Michel from Lönneberga and Ronja the Robber's Daughter. The "Virum Älgpark" is just 10 minutes away, where you can experience the king of the Nordic forests up close on a moose safari. The idyllic archipelago landscape around the harbour town of Västervik (also just over half an hour away) is ideal for fantastic boat trips. Västervik itself invites you to stroll around with its numerous cafés, restaurants and shops. Other worthwhile destinations: the historic village of "Stensjö By" with its original charm, the disused mine "Kleva Gruva", Hjorteds Mopedenmuseum and much more.
