Heritage Haven in the Heart of Valendas

Maximum 2 pets/ dogs allowed. Vacation in architectural monument combines heritage conservation and tourism. Historically valuable buildings are taken over, gently renovated and rented out as holiday flats. The model provides a double benefit: the monuments are given a new future and the holiday guests experience a stay in an exceptional building. The idea is being realised by the foundation Ferien im Baudenkmal (FiB), which was founded in 2005 by the Swiss Heritage Society. Parking: The public car park is about 150m from the house (above the village). The car park is free, not covered. Access to the house is guaranteed. Luggage or shopping can be unloaded in front of the house. Public transport: The bus stop is 20 metres away. Number of persons 7: A baby cot (up to 2 years) is available. The house can accommodate seven guests (plus baby). The upper flat is entered through the common staircase. A door leads from the forecourt into the parlour. Through the parlour you will find access to a single room (trapped room). Also from the forecourt you enter the kitchen, from there a small staircase leads to the large dining room and a single room through which you reach a double room (trapped room). From the kitchen or the forecourt you enter the bathroom, which has a free-standing bath and toilet. One floor up there is another bathroom with shower and toilet and a double bedroom. The attic leads to the last single bedroom. The floors are partly made of stone or wood, so we recommend bringing good slippers. Garden: No garden  WLAN: Is not available.
