Our Villa Königsdorf am See (55m²) is beautifully situated, with a view of the nearby lake and the mountain ranges at sunset, and has a barrel sauna for 2 - 4 people. The nearest shops are a five-minute drive away and the charming Waldkirchen market square is just 7 minutes away. Austria, the Czech Republic, the Bavarian Forest National Park, Passau... all this can be explored within 20 - 30 minutes, as well as forests, lakes, mountains, villages, various leisure and sports facilities. Within a radius of 20 km there are 4 ski areas with lifts, the Adalbert-Stifter cross-country ski trail runs almost alongside the house, we are in the middle of the 380 km long cycle path network Dreiländereck, hiking trails are signposted from the holiday park. On the ground floor is the large living room with well-equipped fitted kitchen (hob, fridge with freezer compartment, coffee machine, microwave with grill function, kettle, toaster etc.), dining area for 4 people, cosy couch corner, satellite TV/radio as well as the shower room and a small cloakroom. A high chair for children is available on request. On the upper floor there is a bedroom with a double bed (180/200 cm) and a bedroom with two single beds as well as a wardrobe in the hallway and a small library. A cot can also be placed in the larger bedroom. We are private landlords - good facilities are important to us. The house is constantly being renovated and embellished. In 2021, a lot of furniture was replaced and energy-saving windows and doors were installed (low-energy standard). In October this year we installed a barrel sauna for the exclusive use of our guests directly at the house. This makes it very different from the original standard house in the holiday park. Furthermore there is of course W.LAN available in the house. In summer 2021, the terrace overlooking the lake was renovated and enlarged. A beautiful, large garden with a barrel sauna for 2 - 4 people that can be used alone as well as a playground, sunbathing area and barbecue in front of the house are at your sole disposal. Our guests can park behind the house for loading and unloading. Otherwise, free parking is available in the various car parks nearby. Leaving everyday life behind and returning to nature - a longing that is capturing more and more people. Would you also like to enjoy the beauty of the Bavarian Forest, observe plants and animals in their native environment and experience nature as a recreational area? Here you can hike, walk, jog and cycle past fields and flower meadows. The circular path around the lake leads first to the centrepiece of the spa park, the spa pavilion with its lakeside stage. Spa and culture in nature find their lively expression here. This place of communication is a meeting point for young and old and a centre for cultural events of all kinds. Just a few metres away you will find a Kneipp facility with water treading and arm pools. Here you can do something for your health and well-being - simply pause for a moment and let your mind wander! Head up the hill to the farm garden. Embedded in colourful flower meadows, it is a prime example of regional garden culture. You are sure to find inspiration for your own garden here. Parallel to the lakeshore, a wide wooden walkway leads you through wetland biotopes towards the lakeside restaurant. Experience the biodiversity and variety of plants in this natural paradise! Wooden walkways to the water invite you to linger and relax in natural surroundings. Many leisure activities, starting from the proximity to the Bavarian Forest National Park with wonderful nature experiences, but also well signposted hiking trails from the house, the Saußbachklamm with the Haller-Alm with beer garden, the great Karoli bathing park in nearby Waldkirchen, excursions to Passau, Austria and the Czech Republic, as well as workout or relaxation at the spa park around the Erlauzwieseler See, which can be reached in 2 minutes on foot, a visit to a graphite mine in Hauzenberg and so much more. Information material is available in the house. In winter there are opportunities for cross-country skiing, the nearest lift for downhill skiing is about 20 minutes away.
