The holiday home is located on a manor in Weenzen, the farm includes the main house with extension, two further barns and the holiday home which is located in a third barn. The Weenzer Bruch begins here, which is a beautiful hiking area with lakes and forests. In the immediate vicinity is also the Ith Hils hiking trail which is labelled as a very natural hiking trail. The cities of Hameln and Hildesheim can be reached in about 30 minutes. The holiday home is located in a sandstone barn which was partly rebuilt as a house in 1994. The sandstone barn was built in 1869 as a drive-through barn with storage facilities for hay, straw and grain. The house has won a prize in the magazine "Schöner Wohnen".
